Well my friend Rachael and I had planned on taking Festival and her PIT, George, downtown Seattle together. Problem: George was recalled very last-minute this month. So yesterday we decided that we should take Festival anyway. It would be fun, and good experience for Festival. And of course, since any story is boring when you [...]

Well we have our lovely house guest. And I do mean lovely–he’s absolutely adorable. It’s……
Festival
I got to work with him at the meeting, and in our 30 minutes at home, he’s a great guy. I like him already. One thing that’s awesome about him is that he’s great with my little brother, who is 8. [...]

Well, since I haven’t posted in a while, here’s my lack of guide dog news…
Lana’s (the cute golden who was career changed and adopted by her raisers) family went out of town, so I got to go to their house for 2 days and play with her and their other pet dog. Man I LOVE [...]

My little favorite made it into the GDB Community Connections newsletter! I sent in the picture of him at school, and Sarah loved it, so now he’s famous.

In other news, I’m puppy-less, but still thinking Tianna should be here. I got home from the mall today and almost [...]

Well it looks like Tianna will be leaving today. Sadly. We were originally going to take her home Sunday, but when I thought about it, her raisers are home, and I really wanted to sleep in on Saturday. So I suggested Friday, but her raiser is meeting with a new family on Friday, so she’s [...]

I suppose I should update. Life’s been VERY slow here. We’ve been snowed in for almost a week, and I hate it. So does Tianna. We stil have about a foot of snow, but my dad put chains on our car, and we’re going to venture up to the grocery store so that I can [...]

Mellow Fellow
Fellow is very calm and laid-back. BUT, I’m looking forward to taking Vortex again. I love that little puppy. Fellow is so so so calm that he almost has no personality. I like Vortex’s spunky personality.

Today we started out for the bus and work eagerly anticipating Gaston’s reaction to the wire crate at my job–the thing which would either let him stay through tomorrow or make him go home early. Well we got there and he did fine with it. Yaaay.
It was an exhausting day at camp, but somehow having [...]

The letter for the week? G! As in Gaston the male golden retreiver who is spending a few days at my house. He gets to be the first one to take the bus adventure with me this summer. Our club’s other golden might also get the chance in August.
Gaston’s raisers (our leaders) brought him over [...]
